Saturday 12/04/2010 Air Pollution

8:30 AM: A faint wood smoke was in the air for a few minutes then it was gone.

4:30 PM: No wood smoke at this time. No wood smoke since the little bit earlier this morning. People do not use fireplaces for heat in this city. It is uncommon to have smoky air in the mornings. We have smoky air almost every evening meaning the fireplace use is recreational. 24 degrees and cloudy.

5:05 PM: Light wood smoke at this time. 24 degrees.

6:00 PM: Faint wood smoke.

7:40 PM: Very faint wood smoke at this time. It is breezy and 20 degrees.

8:12 PM: The air is not fresh but I can detect no wood smoke in it.

9:00 PM: Very faint wood smoke in the air at this time.

9:35 PM: Faint to light wood smoke.

10:30 PM: Very faint wood smoke.

11:30 PM: No smoke. Fresh air. Last check of the evening.

Spring, summer, and fall are smokier than winter in North St. Paul, MN.
