6:00 PM: No wood or yard waste smoke yet. The rain is forecast to start any time now. We are hoping for plenty of rain tonight to prevent the wood burners from polluting our air. It is supposed to rain until midnight. If the forecast holds, we will enjoy another night of fresh, unpolluted air. Hoping for rain.
There was no wood or yard waste smoke pollution this night. The rain started around 7 PM. It was still raining after 3 AM, a little drizzle at that time. We did something we almost are never able to do in this town. We slept with the windows open. It was nice!
