Sunday 05/30/2010 Air Pollution

15 PM: A faint grass smoke is in the air at this time. Somebody is burning grass. If people aren't burning wood in this town they are burning grass! 81 degrees, it feels a little humid.

40 PM: No smoke. Light rain now. It was 77 degrees prior to the rain.

00 PM: No smoke.

30 PM: Still no wood smoke. Gentle rumbles of thunder at this time.

55 PM: Faint grass or wood smoke for a minute or so.

00 PM: No wood smoke.

35 PM: No real wood smoke. There is a very faint smokiness of some type in the air. It could be highly diluted wood smoke from a distant burner or a grill or maybe vehicle exhaust fumes. While I cannot tell what type of pollutant is in the air, I can tell for sure the air is not fresh.

30 PM: No real smoke in the air. Bed time.

When I woke for the first time around 3 AM there was a very faint trace of some type of smokiness still in the air. Since it was not strong enough to determine it was wood smoke, this evening will count as being smoke-free.
