It is another smoky hell of an evening in North Saint Paul, Minnesota.
15 PM: No wood smoke yet.
00 PM: Still no wood smoke. 64 degrees, sunny, a nice spring evening.
30 PM: Grass and wood smoke. Some people burn wood then drop their grass clippings on top of it to hide their illegal grass burning. I would prefer grass burning to be legal and wood burning to be illegal. Wood smoke is much more of an irritant and I have never seen anyone produce grass smoke for 10 hours like people do with wood in this city.
00 PM: Light wood smoke. I went out and discovered who was doing it. It's the same house that burns frequently around this time in the evening. The house that burns 3 - 5 days per week all summer long. The house that burns grass after midnight.
00 PM: Moderate wood smoke. Very smoky outside. Poisonous air!
45 PM: Moderate wood smoke continues. Last check of the evening.
