We are not going to have an Indian Summer this year. Not in October. We haven't had a real Fall. The dismal weather is a mixed blessing. While we don't have the opportunity to spend time outside, we don't have as much wood smoke as we would if the temperatures hit the 70s. But we've still got wood smoke in North St. Paul, as always.
4:00 PM: Faint to light wood smoke at this time. This was my first check of the day. Cloudy, 46 degrees. It was raining lightly this morning when I got the paper. No rain now.
6:30 PM: Light wood smoke.
8:15 PM: Very faint trace of wood smoke remains. 47 degrees at North High School with a light rain mist at this time.
9:00 PM: Light wood smoke. Going to bed now.
11:30 PM: Very faint trace of wood smoke remains.
