North St. Paul wind turbine is up

The wind turbine in North St. Paul has been erected. It is not operational as of yesterday. I saw an article in the Pioneer Press about it and drove by North High School where I saw it. I'll try to get some pictures of it soon. You can see it driving down Highway 36 at 1st St. N. on municipal property. It is sitting about where the old SuperAmerica was before the gas station was torn down for improvements to the highway.

It is good that we are getting some renewable clean energy in North St. Paul. It would be even better if we could eliminate wood smoke pollution in this city from April through the end of October. This wind turbine isn't going to offset the pollution created from all the recreational burning in this town.
