Wood smoke made a return. The temperature today was about as cool as it was earlier in the week when we were absent of wood smoke. Why is the air smoky on a Friday but not earlier? Are fireplaces being used for home heating or for recreation and mood setting?
I think fireplaces are being used for recreation more than home heating.
5:00 PM: Light wood smoke at this time. 45 degrees, drizzling rain at this hour.
6:00 PM: Light wood smoke continues.
8:15 PM: Light to moderate stinky wood smoke. The wood smoke smells horrible. It smells like an animal carcass is being burned with wood. Icky foul air!
9:00 PM: Light to moderate stinky wood smoke continues. It stinks awful.
10:45 PM: Light stinky wood smoke. This was the last check of the evening.
